Refresher Training for Fork Lift Truck Operator
Designed for:
Catering for candidates who have previously been trained and tested. (Proof of previous certification required)
Objectives:
On completion the trainee will be expected to have attained a level of operating skill that complies with the standard laid down by the Forum 2000 in accordance with the HSE Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L117.

- Health & Safety at Work 1974
- P.U.W.E.R. 98 (Provision and use of Work equipment Regs. 98)
- Operators safety code
- Principals of lifting
- Battery care
- Stability factors
- Principals of the fork truck
- Steering operations (forward and reverse) & (confined areas)
- Picking up, setting down, transporting pallets / loads
- Stacking and destacking loads at various heights
- Written and practical tests
