Catering for candidates who require training on a straight masted plant truck. Other machine categories preferred prior to course commencement. (See conversion information)
Objectives:
On the completion of the course the trainee will be expected to have attained a level of operational skill which will comply with the standard laid downby the RTITB.
Course Contents:
- Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- P.U.W.E.R. (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regs. 98)
- Operators safety code
- Principals of lifting
- Daily maintenance checks
- Causes of accidents
- Theory test
- RTITB operator test.
